Job Description

Part-Time - Flexible workingBase Salary - plus commission

As an integral member our dynamic marketing team you'll be providing input to a broad range of clients marketing campaigns. You will be accountable for the day to day management of (TSBM)The Social Butterfly Marketing (Wales) social media activity across various platforms where you will ensure our customers engagement is planned and executed effectively.

The Role
  • Manage and deliver strong social media plans and control the content calendar for all activities across the key social media platforms while implementing efficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Business Founder and the SM team to deliver professional pieces of work that complement each other and to cover for these roles when required – this will include, but is not limited to, undertaking PR activity, writing copy for publications, creating the internal staff newsletter, and uploading articles to internal digital platforms.
  • Plan and implement social media campaigns to achieve strategic marketing aims and objectives.
  • Develop efficient and effective activity that increases performance both in terms of engagement and applications.
  • Coordinate the research, writing and editing of social media content for all platforms.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor performance, create efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyse industry trends and activity in digital marketing in order to identify best practice and make recommendations to the business introducing new and innovative solutions where appropriate.
  • Take photographs and video to support social media campaigns and arrange photo shoots as required..
  • Attend events when appropriate; daytime/evenings
  • Carry out any other marketing duties when necessary.
  • Attend training and meetings as deemed appropriate to the job role.

Person Specification:
  • Educated to A/Diploma level, hold an equivalent professional qualification or have relevant, demonstrable work experience and skills in digital marketing
  • Experience in delivering social media and digital strategies.
  • Experience of developing campaigns.
  • Proven experience of compelling content publication, advertising and analytics across multiple social media channels.
  • Good awareness of emerging trends in the digital space.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, anticipate problems and devise creative solutions.
  • Be highly self-motivated and able to take the initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to cope in a fast-paced & focused environment.
  • Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Flexible attitude, especially during peak periods
  • A keen eye for detail with regards to spelling, grammar and punctuation alongside a passion for the English language.
  • An ability to deliver an outstanding customer service.
